The Pinellas County Council PTA, in cooperation
with Pinellas County Schools and the Pinellas SAC
Association, is coordinating the "Meet Your Legislators"
series again this year. Through this program, we
facilitate meetings with each of the Florida State
Representatives and Senators in each district throughout
the county.
These meetings are scheduled to allow parents, teachers,
school administrators SAC members, PTA members, and all
interested community members the opportunity to meet the
legislator for their respective district. This is an
especially opportune time to reach out and share your
comments, questions and concerns regarding the health,
safety, well-being and education of our children.
Legislators must hear from us so they can have the
benefit of our opinions when making decisions affecting
our children and our schools. If you are unsure who your
Legislators are please visit Find Your Legislator on the
PCCPTA website.
The program will include a brief presentation by the
legislator and an opportunity for questions and comments
from the audience. Following the meeting, time
providing, audience members will have an opportunity to
personally meet and greet their legislator.
